Applicants should be career-minded professional technicians who wish to provide excellent nursing care. 3-5 year experience in a veterinary hospital is required. We work a high ratio of technicians to doctors allowing the technicians to advance in their areas of interest and expertise.

Veterinarian:

Experienced or new graduates welcome! We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated veterinarian for a small animal hospital located in the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains in northwestern New Jersey.
Our award-winning practice is well established with three doctors and 20+ support staff. Our doctors and staff are extremely committed to the practice. The average length of employment is 9+ years. We see patients by appointment Monday through Friday and a half day on Saturday.
We do not board, groom or see after-hour emergencies. The practice routinely sees a wide variety of cases from general preventative care to complex medical and surgical cases.
Our facility includes an extensive in-house lab, digital radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, and state of the art dental suite. We are looking to add and/or enhance or level of medicine and are open to incorporating the latest technologies into our patient care.
We have a well-trained, team oriented staff that provides excellent support and great service. Hewitt/ West Milford is the ideal community for any outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, boating and peaceful living and yet be in driving distance (32 miles) to NYC. Receptionists:

Applicants should be highly motivated, possess excellent interpersonal skills, be articulate, display computer proficiency, and be able to interact well with staff members, clients, and pets.
Veterinary hospital experience is a plus but not required.

Technician Assistants:

Applicants should be motivated, conscientious and able to interact well with staff members, clients, and pets.
Technician Assistants are responsible for cleaning surgical suites including surgical instruments and equipment.
Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
Assistants run laundry, empty garbage cans and maintain the overall cleanliness of the hospital wards and treatment areas.
