Our Staff
Jackie Scheuerman, Practice Manager
Jackie is responsible for managerial functions that encompass most areas of the hospital. Specifically, she ensures that Greenwood Lake Animal Hospital is well managed and our staff is properly trained. Jackie studied nursing in her native country of Poland and continued her education in medical care at Bergen Technical School. She works closely with Dr. Louer to achieve the hospital's mission and ensure exceptional customer service. Jackie handles all billing and client related financial matters.
Patricia O'Shea - RVT, Head Technician
Patty joined the management team of GWLAH in 2001, demonstrating her deep love and respect for animals, as well as for the science of medicine. Her innate ability to lead by the example provides a powerful motivation for her team of technicians, giving them constant incentive to excel at everything they do. Patty's quiet demeanor, gentle sense of humor, innate intelligence, scrupulous attention to detail, and passion for quality animal care combine to make her a formidable advocate for the highest caliber of pet health maintenance. In addition to her considerable workload, she also organizes the continuing education and seminars, which aid the technicians under her supervision to augment and promote further academic studies. Patty holds an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from Bergen Community College. She also has a specialized interest and talent for veterinary dentistry. Fifteen staff members attend the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association Conference on March 3rd and 4th, 2012. We strive hard to be leaders in the field of veterinary medicine and to employee compassionate and knowledgeable staff. To complement our on-site continuing education program, our staff also attends local conferences.
