Wednesday, March 29th @ 7:PM - Caring for Raptors - From Rehab to Release

GWLAH is thrilled to be hosting The Raptor Trust at the West Milford Township Library on March 29, 2023 at 7 pm.
Caring for Raptors - From Rehab to Release will be presented by Chris Soucy, the Executive Director of The Raptor Trust. Chris will be teaching us about the types of birds that live in our area, the threats they face, and how people can help if they find an injured animal. Children are welcome at this lecture too!
Chris Soucy grew up surrounded by raptors. His parents, Len and Diane Soucy, founded the Raptor Trust in their backyard. For 3 decades, The Raptor Trust has provided its unique services to the wild birds and the people who find them, always trying to be helpful and caring to both. It is the Raptor Trust's hope that its long-standing presence and humane conduct has provided a worthy example to others.
