HELP SPREAD THE WORD !

As we wrap up the gift-giving season, we would just like to remind our clients that the best gift you could give us here at GWLAH is the gift of a referral.
We strive to provide the highest quality care for your fur babies and would love for you to refer your friends and family to us!
If you know a pet parent looking for a veterinarian for their four-legged family member, please consider recommending us and help spread the word about the top-notch care at GWLAH!

PAWSITIVE NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS

Measure your pet's food, every time: Using a measuring cup or scoop, accurately measure your pet's daily allowance to maintain a healthy weight.
Improve your knowledge of pet first aid: Be prepared to help an injured pet in an emergency. Download a pet first aid app, like the American Red Cross' Pet First Aid app, and know what to do when minutes count!
Get your steps in: When it comes to overall health and weight management, diet is only part of the equation. Increased physical activity is the other part of achieving these goals, both for you and for your pet.
Schedule a check up with your pet's vet: Have your veterinarian examine your pet at least once a year to catch any potential health problems early on.
Update your pet's ID info: If your pet is sporting old information on their ID tag, now is the time to update tags, collars and microchip information to ensure they can be reunited with you, should they get lost.
Clean out the toy box: Out with the old, in with the new! Get rid of old, shabby and frequently germ-infested toys to make room for fun, fresh playthings.
Time for a grooming: Grooming removes excess fur and distributes natural oils from the skin, which keeps coats shiny and healthy. It also reduces pet hair on clothes and furniture and cuts down on hairballs by reducing the amount of hair cats consume.
