Dr. Smith is an Anesthesiologist at Red Bank Animal Hospital and frequent lecturer on the subject of best practices for veterinarians to manage surgical pain and treatment of chronic pain. Dr. Smith will be spending the day with the doctors and surgical technicians to help sharpen their skills and dull patient's discomfort. (Fast Fact: Dr. Smith's parents are clients of GWLAH!)

Rabies is a zoonotic viral disease. Animals contract Rabies through bites and scratches of infected wildlife. There is no cure for Rabies - only preventative vaccination.
The best defense to protect your pets and family is to keep your pets up-to-date on Rabies vaccines. If pets tussle with wildlife or come in to contact with bats, vaccines should be boostered immediately.
