Join us for a series of free, educational lectures designed to help pet parents better understand their pets’ health, behavior, and overall well-being. Each session is led by a presenter with expertise in the subject and includes time for questions. Lectures are all held at the West Milford Township Library. Our February 17th lecture is “Solutions for Itchy Pets”
Is your pet constantly scratching, licking, or chewing? Itchiness can be frustrating for both pets and pet parents—and the cause isn’t always obvious.
In this lecture, we’ll cover:
- Common causes of itching in dogs and cats
- Allergies vs. parasites vs. infections
- Treatment options and long-term management
- When itching is a sign of a bigger health issue
This session is ideal for pet parents dealing with chronic or seasonal skin issues and looking for real solutions—not just temporary relief. It is also a great opportunity to meet Dr. Panchal.
Presenter: Dr. Sona Panchal. DVM, MS
Dr. Panchal has a wealth of experience in clinical practice, both in general medicine and with exotic animals. She has also worked with the FDA’s Center for Veterinary Medicine at the cutting edge of veterinary medical science. She is passionate about helping people understand all elements of their pets’ health.
