Free Pet Parent Lecture Series: Wildlife Awakens

Image

Join us for a series of free, educational lectures designed to help pet parents better understand their pets’ health, behavior, and overall well-being. Each session is led by a presenter with expertise in the subject and includes time for questions. Lectures are all held at the West Milford Township Library. Our March 25th  lecture is “Wildlife Awakens”

As wildlife becomes more active in the spring, pets face new seasonal risks—both outdoors and in their own backyards.

In this lecture, you’ll learn about:

  • Local wildlife and potential dangers to pets
  • Preventing encounters with wildlife
  • Parasites, diseases, and environmental risks
  • How to keep pets safe during spring and summer months
  • Of course, she will share heartwarming stories from the Last Resort refuge.

Perfect for pet parents who enjoy the outdoors or live in areas where wildlife is common. And of course, for those who enjoy listening to Nancy’s adventures in wildlife rehabilitation and rescue.

Presenter: Nancy Warner Last Resort
